Hey, I've just picked up an awesome promo 10" on Ninja Tune by KID KOALA called "ScratcHappyLand" - I never knew scratching could be so interesting & so much fun ! Does anyone know if he's released anything else, or of any similar artists ? There's a bit about him in this month's Wire magazine, and it mentions a promo-mix-tape called "ScratchCratchRatchAtch" - Anyone out there got a copy ? A lot of the stuff he scratches seem to be samples, and it got me wondering exactly how this is done - surely the source material must be on vinyl, or can it be done digitally now... ? (excuse my ignorance) I also got the new Vibert CD single "Do Unto Others", and it says on the sleeve 'taken from the forthcoming album BIG SOUP' - does that refer to all 3 tracks, or just the title track !? The tracks are good, but it would be a shame if they're all on the album. Over & Out, Aca * rigsby@dial.pipex.com http://dialspace.dial.pipex.com/rigsby/techno.htm
